On the morning of May 29th, the delegation arrived in New York to visit and work with the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations. Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Head of the Permanent Mission of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the United Nations, welcomed the delegation. During the meeting, Ambassador Giang expressed his pleasure in hosting the delegation from Khanh Hoa Province, who were visiting to promote investment opportunities in the United States. He affirmed his commitment to connecting them with major American and international corporations interested in investing in areas where Khanh Hoa is seeking development.

On the afternoon of May 29th in New York City, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hai Ninh and the Khanh Hoa delegation attended a forum with Vietnamese businesses and American enterprises, investment funds, and corporations. The forum aimed to showcase Khanh Hoa's investment potential and opportunities to American investors, highlighting the province's development strategies and unique policies, especially in its competitive strengths. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam shared that as of 2023, the province had attracted 607 projects with a total registered capital of nearly $18.9 billion (480 trillion VND). This includes 113 foreign direct investment projects with over $3.9 billion in capital, including six direct investments from the US totaling over $70 million. He also outlined Khanh Hoa's focus on attracting investments in high-quality services, manufacturing, and large-scale agriculture, emphasizing the application of advanced technologies and enhancing international competitiveness.

On the afternoon of June 3rd in San Diego, California, the Khanh Hoa Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Conference took place. Attendees included Vietnamese Consul General in San Francisco Hoang Anh Tuan and a delegation from Khanh Hoa led by Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hai Ninh. Representing San Diego was Kenia Zamarripa, Vice President of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, along with over 120 businesses and investment funds from San Diego and surrounding areas. At the conference, provincial leaders introduced American investors to the potential and strengths of Khanh Hoa, focusing on sectors such as seaports, petrochemical refining, renewable energy, urban development, tourism, high-quality education and healthcare, high-tech manufacturing, IT, software production, AI, semiconductors, high-tech marine farming, and seafood processing. Representatives from American companies inquired about investment opportunities and incentives offered by Khanh Hoa. The similarities between San Diego and Nha Trang attracted significant interest, especially in tourism. Julie Coker, President and CEO of the San Diego Tourism Authority, remarked, "Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa is truly an attractive destination with a great living environment, diverse tourism products, and numerous cooperation opportunities, making it a compelling investment location for American and San Diego investors."
