Starting June 1st, 2023 Our warehouse fee will be $0.65/cubic foot per month

In effort to lower the warehouse storage fee during inflation, we have went narrow aisle racking. This construction took us four months but the project is finally completed. With narrow aisle racking, we are able to drop storage by 24%.We as partners will go through this inflation together.

Top 10 Tech Trends in Smart Manufacturing for 2023

Top 10 Tech Trends in Smart Manufacturing for 2023

Smart manufacturing is the future of the manufacturing industry. As technology continues to evolve, manufacturers are finding new and innovative ways to improve production processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. With 2023 just around the corner, it's worth taking a look at some of the most significant technology trends that are expected to shape smart manufacturing in the coming years.

Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)

The IoT and IIoT are set to transform smart manufacturing in 2023. By connecting machines, sensors, and devices, manufacturers will be able to collect real-time data and use it to optimize production processes, reduce downtime, and improve product quality.

    Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AI is set to revolutionize smart manufacturing. Machine learning algorithms can analyze large amounts of data to identify patterns and optimize production processes. AI-powered predictive maintenance can also help manufacturers anticipate issues and address them before they cause downtime.

Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)

AR and VR can enhance the efficiency and safety of smart manufacturing processes. AR can provide workers with real-time information and instructions, while VR can be used for training and simulation.

    Blockchain

Blockchain technology can provide secure, transparent, and decentralized records of manufacturing processes, from supply chain management to production and distribution. This can increase trust, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

    5G Networks

The introduction of 5G networks will provide faster, more reliable, and more secure connectivity for smart manufacturing. This will enable real-time data processing and analysis, as well as support the deployment of advanced technologies like autonomous vehicles and drones.

    Robotics

The use of robotics in smart manufacturing is on the rise, with robots being used to perform tasks like material handling, assembly, and quality control. The development of collaborative robots or "cobots" that work alongside human workers is also expected to increase in 2023.

    Digital Twin

Digital twin technology involves creating a virtual replica of a physical asset, such as a machine or product. This can help manufacturers optimize production processes, test new designs, and identify potential issues before they occur.

    Cloud Computing

Cloud computing can provide manufacturers with access to powerful computing resources, enabling real-time data analysis, and machine learning algorithms. This can improve production processes and reduce costs.

    Edge Computing

Edge computing involves processing data locally, at the edge of a network, rather than sending it to a central data center. This can reduce latency, increase reliability, and improve the security of smart manufacturing systems.

    Cybersecurity

As smart manufacturing systems become more connected and complex, cybersecurity will become increasingly important. Manufacturers must take steps to protect their systems from cyber threats, such as data breaches and ransomware attacks.

In conclusion, smart manufacturing is set to undergo significant changes in 2023, with technology trends like IoT, AI, AR, and VR leading the way. By embracing these technologies, manufacturers can improve production processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. However, they must also take steps to protect their systems from cyber threats and ensure that they remain secure and reliable.
