Estes Forwarding Worldwide (EFW) has acquired trade show logistics and exhibit services provider Legacy Logistics. Legacy provides transportation, warehousing, and storage services for trade shows, tours, events, and retail display setups. This agreement expands EFW's existing events business and offers Legacy's customers access to EFW's national network of warehouses, improved technology, and freight forwarding services. The financial terms of the transaction are unknown. The acquisition enables EFW to enhance its trade show solutions for clients. EFW, a subsidiary of Estes headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, is a domestic and international freight forwarder offering custom logistics and warehousing.

Now, Legacy Logistics will operate under the banner of EFW Tradeshow. Ernie Magalotti, the founder and CEO of Legacy, will continue to serve as senior vice president of EFW Tradeshow. Magalotti stated that he is excited to bring Legacy's expertise and capabilities to EFW's customers and expand their combined reach. Meanwhile, EFW's CEO, Scott Fisher, stated that the acquisition of Legacy Logistics will enhance the company's ability to provide trade show solutions to customers and that the cultural compatibility between EFW and Legacy will be beneficial to both parties' clients and employees.
